AIR LinkThis project allows you to control the Amiga with any domestic InfraRed remote control.
It also allows your Amiga to control any appliance which has a remote control. It
accomplishes this by acting as a full InfraRed receiver and transmitter with an
appropriate software suite capable of learning and transmitting InfraRed codes. |

| The November issue features a cover mounted
Printed Circuit Board (PCB) in addition to cover disk floppy disks or CD-ROM containing
the software. The DIY section of the magazine details construction of the project which is
firmly aimed to ease construction unlike CU Amiga more prior more advanced unit, Project
XG. Constructing AIR Link requires a soldering iron and a kit of parts. Both of these are available from ACL. Alternatively one may purchase a fully built unit. CU Amiga construction tutorial covers basic soldering and electronic construction technique as it's simple enough to act as a first project. See the November issue of CU Amiga for more details on AIR Link. The November issue is on sale from the 15th of October at all good newsagents. |
