The technology employed, (Patent Pending) by the Intelligent Battery Tester is designed to determine the Ampere hour Capacity available in a 12volt Rechargeable SLA Battery in seconds. This is achieved by measuring the Ambient Temperature, and DC Voltage, then passing a digital stream of pulsed signals through the battery.  The combined results

The tester will verify the Ah capacity of any 12volt SLA Batteries used in any application. (e.g. Alarm System, Motor Vehicle, Golf Trolley, UPS, etc.)

The battery tester is small and fits in your hand and its lightweight too. The Intelligent Battery Tester is extremely easy to use and is powered automatically by the battery under test.  Once connected, the back-lit LCD displays in sequence:  Ambient Temperature, DC Voltage and Ampere hour Capacity available. A table on the side of the tester specifies exactly when batteries need to be recharged or replaced, eliminating the need to discard or replace batteries unnecessarily.  A quantity of maintenance cards and battery labels are also provided for record keeping.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Disconnect battery to be tested.
  2. Check battery terminals are clean.
  3. Make good connections, Red+, Black-.
  4. Record Ambient Temperature.
  5. Record DC Voltage.
  6. Check charger if voltage too high or low.
  7. Record Ampere hour Capacity available.
  8. Recharge or replace when Ah reading falls below 65% (see table on tester).
  9. Allow short rest between repeat tests.
